It is a true pleasure for me to write those few words of recommendation for Dr. Hanel Nathwan, who I have known for the past two years. I have been living in London for just over ten years and I remember changing dentist every single year or more. I was never happy with doctors’ results, attitude, practice cleanliness etc. To give you an idea I had so much trouble finding a good dentist in London (and such bad results or pain) that on few occasions I flew back to Milan to in order to receive treatment by my family dentist. I am 44 years old and I live in France.

Re: Inman Aligner (Nov 2009 until April 2010)
I approached Kensington Dental Spa looking for a solution to my teeth insecurities that had been plaguing me for years. I had been for consultations at other dentists but had never gone through with any treatment as I didn’t leave with a great feeling about the procedures they suggested or the dentists themselves.
This changed when I met Dr Hanel Nathwani and his team.
At my first appointment I attended the Dental Spa feeling nervous and anxious as to what may be suggested. However, Hanel explained all the options to me and carefully explained all procedures and also cost, which can be a big factor in deciding whether to proceed with treatment like this. Hanel could tell I was nervous and he totally put me at ease. I decided to go for the Inman Aligner and I left feeling hopeful and excited to start my treatment.
2 weeks later I picked up my aligner and my first thought was ‘what have I let myself in for’. However, after a few weeks the pain that was there at the start subsided and my speech improved. This was also coupled with the change that I had started to see in my teeth, especially the front 2 which were the main problem.
At every appointment Hanel and his team made me feel very relaxed and also let me see the original photographs of my teeth which would encourage me to put 100% into the treatment, even at the difficult times (eg- the filing stages, ouch!!)
5 months later I have straight teeth, a new smile and 100% more confidence and this is down to Dr Hanel and his team.
I hated my teeth for many years but didn’t feel confident to go through with any treatment until I found Kensington Dental Spa. From the receptionist, to the assistants and, of course, Hanel, everyone was so friendly and reassuring and it makes the whole experience enjoyable.

The following is my account of my experience share at your practice. I firstly discovered Kensington Dental on the internet in early February whilst searching the web for information on dental implants.
Amongst many other procedures, the website described in detail about a procedure unknown to me dealing with a ‘mini implant’, as I have been wearing a denture for the past two years, this sounded like the ideal solution that I was looking for. I called up and booked a consultation for the following Monday.
When I arrived at the surgery, I did not know what to expect as previous dentists have been reluctant to help me but Kensington Dental Spa put me completely at ease, gave my teeth a routine clean. He then explained in detail, all of the options available to me, totally recommended going ahead with my mini implant and was very confident to do it for me.
I was advised to have my teeth whitened as it would make the overall finished look a whole lot better, so I went along and had my teeth whitened.
I felt slight discomfort during the procedure but it was worth it in the long run as you can quite clearly see the results.
I visited the surgery again to have impressions made of my missing front tooth and it was then that I was fitted with a tiny metal screw. I am glad to say that none of which actually hurt which did surprise me.
I was given antibiotics to avoid any infections and told to book another appointment for the following week when my implant would be fitted so I could finally live and eat like any other 20 year old woman.
My last trip to Kensington Dental was my particular favourite, again, Kensington Dental Spa made me feel totally comfortable before fitting the implant into the front of my teeth. I am very impressed that my implant looks completely realistic and I could not be happier with the result! I have been told to floss on a regular basis but other than that I can eat foods that I had previously avoided when wearing a denture and can now enjoy food more as it tastes so much better.
I would advise anybody considering having the ‘mini implant’ to go ahead with the procedure at Kensington Dental and I would like to Thank Kensington Dental Spa for everything that he has done for me in such a short space of time.
A month ago, I never imagined my teeth would be complete!

After many years of bringing up my four children and either not having the time and the money to look after my teeth properly, I decided that at the age of 51 that it was time that I did something about the poor state they were in. Having lost nearly all the teeth on the bottom right hand side of my mouth and not wanting dentures or bridge, I decided to opt for 2 mini implants and also had 2 inlays done at the same time ,it was all achieved in only 2 visits wit Dr. Jamus with minimal discomfort and the results are fantastic.

Since I first made the initial appointment with you back in late summer, and basically having had my fast falling teeth completely overhauled by you ever since, I now feel so much better about visiting the surgery. Two Upper Central ‘natural’ appearance implants. Also lower bridge
For some considerable time two of the front teeth on the lower jaw had been getting progressively looser. I had been to my dentist and the only two choices on offer to me were a plate, which I did not want, or to go through the long process of having implants. Having implants would have meant removing the loose tooth and inserting implants and then waiting months before the implants were ready to have false teeth attached to them.
I decided to check on any possible alternatives on the internet. After searching and reading as much as possible, I found a dental practice that offered mini dental implants as an alternative.
I made an appointment and met Dr. Jamus. After a brief consultation, and an x-ray he explained the process to me and informed me that he could carry out the process and gave me full breakdown of the price. I informed him that due to teeth discoloration I was also interested in having teeth whitening process carried out at the same time. He suggested that to carry out both treatments it would be beneficial if I were to have them done at his Kensington Practice.
I made an appointment, had both loose teeth extracted, the mini dental implants fitted, the zoom whitening treatment ,and two temporary teeth fitted whilst the permanent teeth were made. I returned ten days later and less than an hour later, my permanent replacement teeth were fitted and I was on my way home.
I had a follow up call between each visit and a follow up call following the final visit to make sure everything was ok and that I had no problems.
All the members of the team were efficient, professional, and friendly. My only regret is that I didn’t discover Kensington Dental sooner!

Just a quick line to let you know how myself and the bridge are getting along. It’s been a few months now and although I do not want to jinx myself everything appears to have settled down extremely well.
All is going fine- just a few twinges when I am late taking the antibiotics and I am eating cautiously to start.
Looking at the great job you have done I think I should have followed your advice about having the whitening treatment. Would this treatment have worked on my lower bridges / crowns and would it have resulted in my remaining teeth being whitened to the same degree as the top teeth you put in place?
Initially, as you are aware, when I came upon Kensington Dental after searching through the internet I was interested in dental implants. This was due to an extensive bridge span in my mouth having recently collapsed. Thereafter, an ill-fitting partial denture had been fitted by my NHS Dentist. Upon asking my NHS Dentist a few weeks later, ‘is this as good as it gets?’ she replaced it with another ill fitting denture! These partial dentures affected my speech and ultimately my confidence. This proved to be a real detriment. In my job I have to use inter/intra personal skills as well as show authority in and around groups of people. It proved an almost impossible task with this denture. Eating proved to be a trial in itself and I gave up eating in company.
In actual fact looking back my mouth was dominating and leading my whole life.
Although I investigated the possibility of implants with two implant consultants in my area things appeared to be moving painfully slowly because I needed bone augmentation. Fortunately, I made the decision to do a little more research on the Internet and came upon your practice with its comprehensive website. I then made an appointment thinking third time lucky.
I want to thank you and your staff so much for being so welcoming, friendly and, very importantly, sincere. I really appreciated your assessment of the urgency of the situation and the speed of giving me a treatment plan and undertaking the work over a period of a few weeks. Your treatment plan was for another bridge and I gladly accepted your advice.
Although, initially I felt, I was perhaps opting for a short term outlook instead of a long term one I am happy I took this route because you have given me confidence in it.
I am absolutely delighted with the result; my bridge has settled in well, I no longer have the embarrassment of people not understanding what I am saying and I can eat with confidence. Added to this it looks absolutely lovely. I am very impressed.
Although, I did feel very self indulgent spending money on myself I now feel it was worth it and am enjoying my life again. Just last week I had to endure a very tough, day long interview process for a great promotion that was also advertised externally. To my utter amazement I was offered the position. I know I would not have had the confidence with a partial denture to compete so confidently three months ago.
Once again thanks for the great job you did on Saturday. These teeth are 100% better than anything I’ve had before.

I am writing to thank you for the excellent work carried out by yourself and you staff. Please find enclosed a draft of my experience and how I chose Kensington Dental to carry out my Mini Implants. At the age of 44 I have worn a denture for the last 27 years following a car accident when I lost the front four upper teeth, over the years I have never really felt confident or comfortable with my denture, especially at dinner parties with friends, so when at Christmas I had an accident and lost my denture I had two choices facing me, either buy a new denture at a cost of £820 or look at an alternative option. I had read about mini implants in a national paper so I started to investigate on the internet the options available to me, I liked the fact that the treatment can be carried out the very same day rather than wait months. I mailed various companies and had conversations with many Dentist who could only advise me on the products they were using at the time.
After much searching I came across the Kensington Dental Practice in London and what particularly interested me in them was the information on their site which covered Mini Implants, their Knowledge of what I was looking for was better than any I had seen on any other site. I also researched the IMTEC web site who manufactures the Mini Implants used by Kensington Dental and found this very reassuring.
I contacted Kensington Dental to make an appointment, I met Kensington Dental Spa who examined my mouth to see if my bone in my upper gum was suitable to take the mini implants, he x-rayed me and took photos of my mouth and after each procedure he would explain in detail what he was doing and also what we could achieve if I was to go ahead. I was very comfortable that he had done this procedure many times before so I decided I would go ahead with the four Mini Implants and booked to see him in 1 week. I was a little nervous about having the implants fitted but to my surprise it took a little over an hour to put all four implants in and to fit me with some acrylic temporary teeth, the whole procedure was painless. When I looked in the mirror I was pleased to see that I could smile again without dentures and could see what the final outcome was going to look like. I took a small course of ant biotics over the next five days to help the implants take to my gum. I returned 2 weeks later after my crowns were returned from the Dental Lab.
The temporary acrylic teeth were removed and the implants were cleaned up ready for the new crowns to be fitted, after approx 40 minutes Kensington Dental Spa and his staff had fitted the four porcelain crowns to my mini implants and after 27 years I had the confidence of being able to smile again, I would recommend anyone who is thinking of having any type of dental work done to either visit in person or browse the web site, I was very happy with the prices charged as this was also a contributing factor to choosing Kensington Dental.
