With the KaVo DIAGNOdent pen, even hidden caries can be detected quickly, easily and reliably - wherever they are. The DIAGNOdent pen is the perfect tool to completely detect:
- Approximal caries
- Fissure caries
- Smooth surface caries (gold standard in this area)
DIAGNOdent pen works on the basis of the differing fluorescence between healthy and diseased tooth substance. This allows you to detect even the smallest of lesions. Without X-rays or exposure to radiation; more reliable than any other method. And healthy tooth substance is preserved – there’s no probing, no scraping and no damage.
Once decay has been diagnosed Healozone can be used for effective killing of decay causing bacteria.
Introducing Healozone for Optimal Caries Management
Healozone® is a Dental device that produces and delivers Ozone for treatment in Dentistry.
Healozone converts oxygen into Ozone.
The ozone is then pumped through a tube and a handpiece with special silicone cups. This provides an airtight seal.
There absolutely no sensation as the ozone gently bathes the infected area. In twenty seconds, 99.9% of the caries (decay) producing bacteria are eliminated. The ozone is pumped away, broken down into oxygen again-and the tooth is caries-free without pain. It is as simple as that.

The Biolase™ is designed to deliver the best clinical characteristics of existing diode lasers in one state-of-the-art system.

Heat, vibration and pressure are the primary causes of pain associated with the use of the traditional dental instruments. Since cutting soft tissues (teeth and gums) with the Biolase® does not generate heat, vibration or pressure, many dental procedures can be performed with fewer shots, less need for anesthesia, less use of the scalpel and fewer numb lips! Using the Biolase® for gum procedures reduces bleeding, post-operative pain, swelling and the need for pain medication in many cases.
Less Bleeding & Swelling
Due to its conservative, gentle cutting action and coagulating capabilities, the Biolase® performs many soft tissue (gum) procedures with little or no bleeding and less post-op swelling.

Digital Radiography
Dental radiographs, commonly referred to as X-ray films, or informally, X-rays, are pictures of the teeth, bones, and surrounding soft tissues to screen for and help identify problems with the teeth, mouth, and jaw. X-ray pictures can show cavities, cancerous or benign masses, hidden dental structures (such as wisdom teeth), and bone loss that cannot be seen during a visual examination. Dental X-rays may also be done as follow-up after dental treatments.
